Tour de Barelang (Batam, Rempang and Galang Island)

It was a great Monday for me yesterday. I and some dear friends decided to do do a half-day tour across the Three main Island of Batam and end up in Galang Island. The Islands are connected by bridges with the type of road that make you want to be an F-1 racer. Here are some pictures I took.



Me,on the Third Bridge of Barelang Bridge that connect Batam Island with two other main islands and dozen of small Islands.The blue water and green small islands down there are very tempting.



Dreaming to sail in that blue sea with the love one. Just You and Me into the blue. Is it gonna happen? Hmm...I don't think you like this part of Indonesia. However, the combination of green Islands, Blue water and cloud are just so perfect!





Visiting the ex-camp of Vietnamese Refugees. They are the victims of Vietnamese civil war in 1980s. The camp was built by UN to accommodate these refugees who sail to Indonesia by wooden boat across the South China Sea. Whatever the reason, war always end up with infliction.



When the sun goes down, we drove home. The sunset over the Island's rainforest was gorgeous. I captured some pictures form the car's window.
